Saguaro Stitchers conducts interesting programs after each regular monthly meeting.  These programs can include field trips or a class, or just stay and stitch on your own work.

Fire Fighter Sampler was stitched by members of the Saguaro Stitchers chapter in memory of the 19 Arizona fire fighters who lost their lives in June 2013 while fighting a forest fire.  The sampler was auctioned off at the ANG Seminar "Parade of Stitches" held late August in New Orleans.

Ornament, completed by Alice Hall.  This is too big for my tree, but I have a favorite finishing method that reduces the piece in half and forms a two sided ornament.  See both the flat ornament and the two sided envelope finished piece [below].  We will have a chart in our next newsletter and the finishing instruction that will let you stitch and finish an ornament in this method.
