National teachers are sponsored by Saguaro Stitchers and teach classes in the Phoenix area two or three times a year.
Debbie Rowley will be teaching a class on Feb 16-17, 2026 at the Saguaro Stitchers meeting location.
The project is titled
"Adagio". The teaching objectives are:
- Explore complex and layered stitches with a variety of textures
- Encourage stitchers to
develop an easy stitching rhythm by understanding the structure of stitches
Adagio features a center motif with a Kitty’s double fan
doubled, a Jean Hilton variation of the double fan doubled. Sprat’s heads, Amadeus stitches and layered partial Jessicas emanate from
the center, with overlapping fans and waffle stitches in the corners.
